Coaches Cup 2007

We were in Starkville over the weekend for the Coaches Cup soccer tournament. It was a cold, frosty morning on Saturday. Mallory played with the Shooting Stars. They won all 4 of their games on Saturday. She played well and had fun with her friends. I was having to go from one field to another because a couple of Mallory and Mackenzie's games were at the same time.

Mackenzie's Division II team is the Boomers. Mackenzie played goalie for the first time because their goalie couldn't make it for the first game. She had 2 practices prior to the tournament and did great! I was more nervous than her! Their team made it to the finals on Sunday. Next up is Division II Winter Classic in Madison Dec 1st and 2nd.

Trick or Treat...

Happy Halloween! This year Mackenzie was vampira and Mallory was a witch. The neighborhood was overflowing with kids...they had fun trick or treating with their friends...and so excited about all their goodies!

Top Gun soccer tournament

MYSO Boomers (Div II) traveled to Pensacola, FL for the Top Gun tournament. The girls are a U10 team and played in the U11 silver bracket. They did really well for their first tournament together. On Saturday evening, most of the team went for an "after party" at Indigo condos on Perdido Beach...thanks to the Thompsons for hosting. We look forward to a great year...we travel out of town for soccer tournament every month...stay tuned...next weekend Starkville, MS.

Meeting Hallie...

Billy, Mackenzie and Mallory met Hallie Rose for the first time on Fri. Oct. 26th. The girls were so excited to see their new cousin. She's wearing blue and white to support Mackenzie's soccer team. Billy and the girls were on their way to Pensacola and stopped by Mobile to have dinner with the Downings
