It's that time of year...FOOTBALL SEASON is here! On Thursday we went up to Starkville for State's first football game. You could feel the excitement in the air...lots of maroon and white everywhere...ESPN was there too. State had a good 1st quarter but it was all LSU from then. There wasn't much to cheer about but the girls had fun playing in the rain :~) Hope our team bounces back and gets a win next game. GO BULLDOGS!!

This evening we had a baby shower for May. Mom and Dad cooked delicious Filipino food, made the cake and desserts too. Sandy (Rob's mom) decorated and made the watermelon baby carriage...cute! Everyone enjoyed the games too. Baby Hallie Rose got a lot of nice gifts. She will be making her debut Oct. 5th (unless she chooses to come sooner)!

Mississippi Braves (8/4) - - - 1st day of school (8/7)

Saturday night we went with friends to Pearl, MS to see the Mississippi Braves play baseball. Our team lost but we had a good time and ate lots of good food. Thanks to the Henrys for inviting us!

Today was the girls' first day of school first day of school. Seems like they start earlier and earlier each year! It was a little tough waking the girls up this morning but once the excitement kicked in they got up, got ready and we were out the door by 7:10am. Mallory is in 1st grade and Mackenzie is in 3rd grade. They had a good 1st day. "No homework" were the first words they told me when I picked them up. Both like their teachers. We got treats this afternoon...M&M and cookie dough blasts from Sonic...perfect for cooling us off from the summer heat. Today's high temp prediction was 98!

T-Ball 2007

This was Mallory's last year to play t-ball (age 4-6). She had fun with her friends and improved on hitting and fielding. She'll be ready for softball next year! Today was their last game. The kids did great and proud of their trophies. Mackenzie spent a lot of time helping in the concession stand. She enjoyed the perks too...sampling the food! :~)
