The guys are enjoying their ski trip. Billy said the first day was tough but he's done well since. Your leg muscles get a workout!

3 Amigos

Billy, Eddie and Juan (and other friends) are skiing in Squaw Valley Ski Resort in California. They flew out of Birmingham, AL bright and early on Sunday morning and will be back this Saturday. Looks like the guys are having fun! Behind them is Lake Tahoe. Maybe one day the families will get to go! :~)

Magnolia Cup soccer tournament

Last weekend we traveled to Clinton, MS for the Magnolia Cup tournament. It rained almost all day on Saturday. The Boomers were able to play 2 games but the tournament was cancelled on Sunday due to the weather. The fields were under water! Next up, Reservoir Rage tournament in March.

On Saturday we took the girls to see the Hannah Montana Concert movie in 3D at the Grandview in Madison. There were about 30 in our group. The girls had a blast!

Purple Parrots back in action

It's soccer time again. Mallory had the flu (5 days) the week of spring season starting. She didn't want to miss their first game (Sat. Feb. 9th) so we let her play. Their team came from behind scoring 5 goals in the last 2 quarters to win 5-4. It was an exciting game!

Fab Four...Rubber Soul

Saturday's "Evening with the Beatles" was a huge success. Everyone enjoyed the dinner and music by Rubber Soul. They were great! Not only did they play Beatles music, they played other "hits" from that era. The young and the young at heart enjoyed dancing the night away!

Beatles Mania

Dad has planned another spectacular event for St. Patrick Church. This Saturday we will have THE BEATLES...not exactly...the band Rubber Soul will be playing for the dinner-dance. They look and sound like the Beatles and play an array of Beatles music. Tickets went like Hannah Montana tickets! It should be a fun evening...it's SOLD OUT!! More pictures to come...
